Refugees Everywhere
"What would stone say about us if it could speak?"
Stone, Ecology of the Non-Human: Jeffrey Jerome Cohen
The formation of the Alps through the slow, powerful shifting of continental plates becomes a metaphor for boundless, natural movements. Building on this idea, Refugees Everywhere explores the relationship between the limited freedom of humans and the unrestricted movement of stones.
Here, stones become storytellers by leaving their "fingerprints" on paper, raising questions about identity and the barriers of crossing borders.
In contrast, the gold-silver shimmering flag made from an emergency blanket symbolizes protection and hope, sharply juxtaposed with the freedom of travelers and the restrictions faced by refugees.
